Rocket Scientist (1929)
What does space sound like? Sounds like it hides a secret
Countless stars are like eyes, looking at us through the dark
He didn't hear our world, but he could not show his weakness
Kept dreaming, absorbed the knowledge, saved his spark
He knew that Earth is just the cradle of mankind
Man of the universe who was ahead of his time
He tried to conquer gravity. He knew something sublime
His dream became a dream of humankind
"We’ll fly away to stars," flashed through his mind
Fate was cruel to him, and at one point he almost gave up
After the death of his son, he did not invent anything for almost a decade
It was like something was holding his mind, but it wasn't enough
He returned to science, resigned himself to his fate
He knew that Earth is just the cradle of mankind
Man of the universe who was ahead of his time
He tried to conquer gravity. He knew something sublime
His dream became a dream of humankind
"We’ll fly away to stars," flashed through his mind
(Documentary speech by Konstantin Tsiolkovsky)

Our fathers killed this place
Blood of their grandsons on their hands
We are looking for a clue
That will come to the rescue
Look at the sky
There is your ark flying by
You should build a brand new world
With no ground under
Have no chance
But you should try to survive
Have no chance
Live without reasons why
Have no chance
But hope still springs eternal.
You are the last of our species
It's a gift and a curse too
You'll be the legendary heroes
If anybody lives to hear the tale
This cruise to nowhere
That could last a lifetime
You should beware
It will take a lot of time
Hey God, If you exist it's time to appear
Show us the way to a new home
Or all prayers will soon disappear
And you will be alone

E Pur Si Muove! (1633)
Who are you - a thinker, a seer?
How were you born in these darkened times?
Do you believe the Sun is God's See?
Are you a heretic or a great mind?
What made you look up to the sky?
How'd you invent your telescope?
What did you see there - heaven or none?
Or may a huge world besides the earth?
You said that our planet is round,
Circles aeonially 'round the sun,
You said the world is made up of many
Heliocentric galaxies spun
E pur si muove!
Immutable truth
For which the hellfire has blunted tooth
E pur si muove!
It was and will be
And someday humanity also will see!
Step by step, a person moves to our stellar source
Hidden behind every great mind is our desire to find our homes
E pur si muove! E pur si muove!
E pur si muove! E pur si muove!

Humanity's Dream (1961)

Humanity's Dream (1961)
Humanity's dream's to fly above the clouds,
To pierce the spheres with rocket at last
To see what is there on other planets
And even to conquer the whole universe
And even to conquer the lightspeed force
Go beyond our galaxy,
Take a ride on the Milky Way
Beat off the asteroid belt
See Saturn's hulahoop play
Ride on the stellar winds
To the very edge of macrocosm
And from our radioprotective suits look into -
The black holes,
Breathe the ether,
Breaking free from the Motherearth's crust
Prove that human genius knows
Knows no boundaries
And we can cross the wormholes
Connecting all realities
And finally we reached the dream
The first man flew into the space
All people saw his spaceship's gleam
And full of hopes his fiery trace
Like a light-faced Apollo
Like a gold-eyed Phaethon
He soared over
The blue layer of ozone
It was truly the great day -
The victory of science
And new step on the way
To fully feel
The black matter,
Break the fetters,
Jumping free upon the singular time
(Yuri Gagarin's documentary speech)
And no matter how our aspirations are,
Man should have turned around
And see the earth from his bull's eye -
The first sight from the cosmos saw wars and genocide,
Injustice, theft, betrayals and understanding's "night"
Run or stay?
Save or die?
Soon these questions will arise
Before the mankind!

Emotional Anchors (2055)
Time goes faster when you're getting older.
Those processes cannot be stopped, cannot be paused, and can’t be reversed.
When the gray hair hangs over your shoulder
You think more and more about the past, about your feelings at first
Emotional anchors surround.
Sounds of childhood are here.
I don't need all modern technology warping around
I start the game and disappear
I'm hanging out in my own spaceship and playing Nintendo
My mind is discovering doors to the past and I'm going through
Our present is great, there is so much that’s exciting.
Technological progress cannot be stopped, cannot be paused, and can’t be reversed
We travel to worlds. We ride the lightning
But Metallica’s tape is my personal time machine, cuz it was my first
Emotional anchors surround.
Sounds of childhood are here.
I don't need all modern technology warping around
I push the start button and disappear
I'm hanging out in my own spaceship and listening to Walkman
My mind is discovering doors to the past and I'm going through
I disappear in my mind
The whole world is behind
Time moving slow, the minutes seem like hours
The final curtain call I see
How true is this? Just get it over with
If this is true, just let it be
I'm hanging out in my own spaceship
And playing Nintendo
My mind is discovering doors to the past
And I'm going through

Who Are on the Stars? (3000BC)
Our grandfather's fathers talked about the skies
That gods and our ancestors indwell there
They look onto us and guide our lives
Oh how we want to look at them
Stonehenge! Stonehenge!
Stonehenge! Stonehenge!
The greatest druids had ordered our folk
To build this inspired grove from the rock
Who are on the stars?
Whose face is on the moon?
Are we so alone in the universe?
Who are on the stars?
Will we find out soon?
To see through the sky - our inquiring course!
We explore frozen stars
We explore other worlds
We unearth the secrets
Of ancient gods
We've discovered the constellations
And the fact that they constantly move
We've invented the calculations
To look after the mondial grooves
Stonehenge! Stonehenge!
Stonehenge! Stonehenge!
The greatest druids had ordered our folk
To build this inspired grove from the rock
We've set our observational point
To uncover hidden secrets of the world
Who are on the stars?
Whose face is on the moon?
Are we so alone in the universe?
Who are on the stars?
Will we find out soon?
To see through the sky - our inquiring course!

Invention/Dissemination (2200)
We penetrated one of the wormholes
Many millions of light years from the earth
And finding new home in another great verse
Discovered beautiful exo-motherearth
Everything is known there
- Reflection or mirage?
There's the same sun and air,
Same water and the grass
We don't know - this is a new world
Or just a parallel verse
With the same development,
History and laws
We don't know - this is a new part
Of our hanseled lives
With a great tomorrow
As fest for human hives
Everything is known there
- Reflection or mirage?
There's the same sun and air,
Same water and the grass
But we decided not to mess with blissful laziness
And guide our ancestors into this paradise abode,
Sent back through temporary wormhole sapience-bestowed
Men to the different past times of humanity
Ourselves we will help our gene-tree to develop, ourselves we will direct our root to the stars and to the disclosure of cosmic secrets, and in the end, we ourselves will create a big bang so that our native universe will live anew its billions and billions of years, but maybe - in other ways... Better ways.

We Made Because We Could

David:
What you hoped to achieve by coming here?
Dr. Holloway:
What we hoped to achieve was to meet our makers
To get answers.
Why they even made us in the first place.
David:
Why do you think your people made me?...
-------
Humanity wants to fly
Tries to know the unknown
That hides above the sky
We don't want to be alone
In the universe
We don't want to be thrown
We are trying to find our Gods
Humanity builds spaceships
For journeys to other worlds
That covered by black tints
And lit by another sun
Why did THEY create us?
(Why did they create us?)
Humanity builds robots
That have intellect and knowledge
We made them look like us
We don't want to be alone
They help us with searching for our Gods
What will we answer,
When robots ask us,
Why we created them?
-------
David:
...Why do you think your people made me?
Dr. Holloway:
We made because we could.
David:
Can you imagine how disappointing it would be to hear the same thing from your creator?
